“Now all glory to God,
who is able, through his mighty power at work within us,
to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.”
~Ephesians 3:20 (NLT)~
That’s a wonderful verse to reread and ponder for a while.
Pray for Jerry Doughty. He was allowed to return home yesterday. Pray for his caregiver, June, that she will be up to the task of taking care of him at home.
There are many others who serve as caregivers so someone can stay at home where they are happiest. Pray for all the sick and for all the caregivers. I can tell you it is a demanding responsibility.

God Works through us!
Thank-you so much to those who helped pack the 150 shoeboxes Saturday. We are waiting for the arrival of the cartons before we can get those shoeboxes ready for their location.
I’ve had some questions about when shoeboxes need to be completed so they are ready to turn in. First Baptist Church, Kentwood will be a collection site during that week, November 15-22. This is the site to refer to for information. https://www.samaritanspurse.org/operation-christmas-child/drop-off-locations/

Today Prayer Focus
Today, let’s pray for all those involved in packing, filling, transporting, and delivering OCC boxes. May each one do their job well with a focus on the children who will receive their”shoebox”. May they learn about Jesus and want to have Him in their lives forever. May those who pack, ship, and deliver the boxes be drawn closer to Him too. Pray with those thoughts in mind.
