“Let go of your concerns!

Then you will know that I am God.

I rule the nations. I rule the earth.”

~Psalm 46:10 (GW)~

I got to visit with Donna Fay Miller for a few minutes. She has been homebound even more than we have been. She has had some heart procedures since I last saw her. It was wonderful to see her again.

Tommy Hood received very good news at M.D. Anderson yesterday.

Tommy had a CT/PET scan, labs and a MRI yesterday. We went to the sarcoma doctor today and they gave us some news we were NOT expecting. There is no presence of tumor activity. The original tumor in his hip soft tissues, muscles and bone and his lung mets and the tumors surrounding his heart are gone. No active tumor activity! They are changing his chemo and doing up to 6 more treatments to make sure we get all the nasty cells that still may be present, but the doctor said he is on path to live a long, healthy life! Happiest day of my life since the birth of my boys! All I can say is that God is working! Prayers are working! We have a wonderful medical team, but to be at this point after only 6 rounds of chemo is a miracle to me. I think I’m still in shock! God is GOOD! Thank y’all for all your prayers! We still have a long road to get to ring that bell and get our “get out of jail” cancer card, but today we celebrate! Monday starts round 7. We are going into it mentally healthy after the news today…There is minimal scaring. My son is a warrior and I know his mental and physical strength have helped us reach this point. He is my hero! Today’s Prayer Focus

Let’s say special prayers for all of our police forces. Several policemen were killed over the weekend. We need to pray for the families, their fellow officers, future police in training, etc. Pray for citizens to still have an officer to call upon when needed.

May you be a blessing to others today.
