Monday

Pray for Robert Callihan as he has surgery today.  Pray all goes well for everyone working with Robert.  Pray his recovery will go smoothly and Robert can soon be back to his normal routine.

Please continue to pray for Mrs. Mary Womack.  The last I heard, she was still in North Oaks.

Jimmy Schwartz was at church today.  He is a walking, talking miracle and very thankful to have that word describe him.

Pray for the Brumfield/Kent families as they bury Bryan today.  Hundreds of people took time to show their respect to the family last night.  He touched a lot of lives in his 50 years.  The verses at the top are in honor of him.

Becki Ricks Gabriel is a little better.  Tina gives God and your prayers credit.  Becki is still very sick, but has made a few “baby steps” lately.

Monday is Wear Red Day for West, Texas.  Continue to pray for this area.

Continue to pray for the people of West, Texas and Boston.  They will need our daily prayers for quite a while.

Today is Friends and Family Day at The Lord’s Church.  You are invited to bring a dish and a guest.

SUNDAY, MAY 26, 2013 IS HOMECOMING AT HILLSDALE BAPTIST CHURCH. IT IS TIME TO START CONTACTING FORMER MEMBERS AND MEMBERS WHO HAVE NOT ATTENDED CHURCH IN A WHILE. LET’S SEE IF WE CAN BREAK AN ATTENDANCE RECORD FOR THIS HOMECOMING. IF YOU ARE A FORMER MEMBER, GOD IS DOING AWESOME THINGS AT HBC. COME JOIN US ON THIS SPECIAL DAY. IF YOU ARE A PRESENT MEMBER WHO IS NOT ATTENDING REGULARLY, NOW IS THE TIME TO GET BACK IN CHURCH. LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING YOU THERE.

My heart is broken about the death of another former student.  I’ll not post a name yet, but will later.  I’ll miss his big hugs!

Kentwood National Day Of Prayer Rally will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2013. Prayer service will begin at 6:30 PM at Temple Chapel Church behind kangaroo. See you there!

Hispanic Bible Study – The first meeting of the group was well attended.  The next meeting will be Wednesday at First Baptist Church at 5:30.  If you know any Hispanics, please invite them.  The meeting will be in the house across from the fellowship hall.

Pray for Mr. Kenneth Felker as he gets results of Wednesday’s medical test today.

We had a wonderful time at the cabin last night.  God made his presence know!
