Thanks for the support for David’s family as we buried his sister and her son-in-law yesterday. God gave us plenty of sunshine just when we needed it. We also enjoyed great family fellowship as we ate and visited together after the service.
I’m looking forward to having a gathering of “Helping Hands” Saturday to work on various projects for our “Shoeboxes”. There will be something for everyone, male and female, youth and older folks. We will meet in the fellowship hall from 9-12 on the 24th. Bring a finger food to share.

Ladies, be sure to mark your calendar for Saturday’s tea at FBC, Greensburg at 10 A.M.
The following Saturday, we will put our “Willing Hands” to work for missions at FBC, Kentwood at 9 A.M. We will work on Operation Christmas Child “shoebox” items – dresses made from men’s dress shirts, pencil bags, and other projects. Additional dress shirts will be needed and can be left in the church office any day this week between 8:00 and 5:00. Thanks for your shirts. There will be something that men, women, and older children and youth can help with. Come join us.
He put another parable before them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven is like a grain of mustard seed that a man took and sowed in his field.
It is the smallest of all seeds, but when it has grown it is larger than all the garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and make nests in its branches.”
~Matthew 13: 31-32~
Please pray for Kevin Widas. He is a son of Rick Widas of Roseland. A truck fell on Kevin yesterday in Utah. He is hospitalized with life threatening injuries. Kevin is in his mid-40’s. The family will be very grateful for your prayers.
