I know that many a time, as I sang this song, I re-evaluated my efforts for Him and decided I could do more in the way of pleases Him.

    “Miss” Susie was our friend for 30 years.  She has also been a neighbor for the last few years.  We loved her and will miss her, especially when we pass by her house almost every time we leave our house.  We were blessed to be a part of a group from the church that visited her for the Lord’s Supper September 2, 2015.  She sang every word of every song that night.  I will forever remember her blowing out a candle on a little cake I baked for her.  It was her 95th birthday!

    Monday

     You were taught, with regard to your former way of life,

    to put off your old self,

    which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires;

    to be made new in the attitude of your minds;

    to put on the new self,

    created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.

    Continue to pray for Mrs. Flo Hatcher.  She was able to meet a new baby in the family yesterday.  Thank God for that sweet moment.
