Sunday

This is departure day for some of our family. Many will be leaving at 5:00 (2) and (3) or 8:00 (3) this morning. The others are flying out early (3) or mid-afternoon (1) tomorrow. This certainly will be a lonesome home tomorrow. It was great to have them all here. We pray for their protection as they travel back home and to their lives there.

PRAYER FOCUS

Today, let’s focus on those who are hospitalized and those who are in rehab. We all know these are helpful places to have a family member, but they are often difficult because of the separation. Pray for your own family members, if any, and for others you may know.

Today is a day of worship and Bible study. Remember, each lesson and each message has an application for our lives. They are not just speeches. Don’t miss out.

Services at FBC, Kentwood will include Sunday School at 9: 15 A.M. and worship at 10:30 A.M. and 6:00 P.M. The youth and children will have their own times to study in the Lighthouse and the L-wing. I know the children will be so amazed when they see the mural on the wall in their new area. It was hand-painted by church member, Lanie C. White, this week.

It’s never too late to contribute to any missions offering. This includes Georgia Barnette (Louisiana), Operation Christmas Child, and Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home, but is not limited to these three.
