When in places like the mountains where, we have just been, this verse is always one of the first verses that comes to mind. We don’t have to be in the mountains though to appreciate this verse. I hope to find some time today to sit and meditate on this verse. I hope you do too.

We were sad to hear of the death of Steve Sanders. Our thoughts and prayers have been for the children. I’ll share his obituary for those who may not have seen it..

A resident of Kentwood, LA, passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2022 in Kentwood, LA. He was born September 24,1958 in Magnolia, MS and was 64 years of age. He is survived by his father, Paul Sanders and wife, Anne Sanders; mother, Estelle Tillery; child, Logan Sanders; step-children, Emily Daniels Pupo, Jacob Daniels and Nathan Daniels; and a grandchild, Owen Daniels. Preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Elisabeth Sanders; grandparents, Clifton and Nannie Mae Womack and Mac and Olatha Sanders; and step-father, Carlton Tillery.
