Sunday

In him we have redemption through his blood,

the forgiveness of sins,

in accordance with the riches of God’s grace

~Ephesians 1:7~

Mrs. Ruby Dillon had a good day yesterday.  She was looking good and feeling stronger.  The white board at the foot of her bed says they are aiming to send her home on the 14th.  Pray she can continue to improve in physical therapy and in eating.

Mrs. Bettye Fussell is moving on with a great attitude.  Her doctors are working together to determine the plan.  Bettye is positive and encouraging.  What a blessing she is to our community!

Read the Bible – Malachi 3-4 and Psalm 64

I hope you will be attending your church today.  If not, choose one and attend.  Of course, asking a friend if you can go with them is always a good option.  The point is to get up and go.  You will be blessed.

The youth from FBC, Kentwood had a progressive supper followed by swimming last night.  The attendance was good.  All seemed to be having a great time.  Thanks to the adults who made it possible.

Bible Drill class for children will be at 6 P.M. tonight.  Come learn some Scriptures and how to use your Bible.

Operation Christmas Child – Bring your glue sticks to my classroom this morning.  Next week, we will be collecting pens and pencils.  Of course, we will accept any items at any time.  Thanks for your help.

The Two Rivers Associational WMU will meet at FBC, Amite at 10 A.M. on Monday, September 11th.  Rev. Don Meadows will share about Compassionate Ministry and Georgia Barnett.  All ladies are invited to attend.  You do not have to attend organized WMU meeting at your church to enjoy and learn from the associational meetings.
