“For just as rain and snow fall from heaven

and do not return there

without saturating the earth

and making it germinate and sprout,

and providing seed to sow and food to eat,

so My word that comes from My mouth

will not return to Me empty.”

~Isaiah 55:10-11a, HCSB~

There have been so many happy events in our area lately – babies born, wedding and baby showers, weddings, graduations, etc.  Pray for each family as they go through these wonderful experiences.  Pray they keep God as a central focus of their lives.

There have been so many sad events in our area lately – sickness, hospital stays, deaths, accidents, lost jobs, etc.  Pray for each family as they go through these experiences.  Pray they keep God as a central focus of their lives.

There have been some families that have had these highs and lows in their life in the past, but lately things have run “middle of the road”.  Pray for these families to keep God as a central focus of their lives.

* Praise God that a 69-year-old woman in China, fascinated as a teenager by a people group featured in a film, just completed training in reaching the unengaged and spent her first 100 days in their village–and 53 members of that people group received Christ as their Savior!

* Pray for teams of local believers in East Asia who are venturing out, most for their first time, in obedience to God’s call to take the Gospel to unreached people groups within their own country.

* Praise the Lord that in recent weeks, there has been evidence of revival among the nursing students at Bangalore Baptist Hospital in India!

* Please pray for those in the state of Gujarat, India, who have been working for some time to produce accurate, understandable translations of Scripture in the Gujarati language so they can be used in evangelism and discipleship and be made available for all believers.
