Madge Rose Simeon, a resident of Greensburg, LA, passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at St. Helena Nursing Home in Greensburg, LA. She was born July 11, 1941 in Jena, LA and was 79 years of age. Prayer Focus for Today

Today, let’s pray for those leading VBS in several of our area churches this week. Let’s pray they can be flexible as the need arises and that they can lose the focus on all the little details and see the big picture of telling boys and girls about Jesus. What an awesome responsibility!

Update of Rev. David Luce

Bro. Luce was able to preach yesterday morning by using a chair and was able to stand to celebrate The Lord’s Supper. Please continue to pray for him.

Update on Buddy Morris

Buddy Morris will stay at the hospital a few more days. Your prayers for him and the family are appreciated.

Cindy Camandelle, whose husband pastors at Mt. Nebo, has broken her foot. Please be in prayers for healing.

Betty Taylor asks for prayer for two of her siblings.

Teresa Sanchez has small cell carcinoma cancer in her lungs and adrenal gland. She started radiation and chemo last week.

Glenn Ziggler has prostate cancer and had surgery two weeks ago. He lives in the Baton Rouge area.

The recent rains have caused water to flow over the roads in several places. Pray for everyone to be smart and safe.

Tommy Hood of Amite is in ICU at MD Anderson. Today, the family will learn which cancer he has and the treatment plan,.

I received several requests for help for the Sharp family that lost their home yesterday afternoon.

Gonna paste the fb post. A family in our community has lost everything in a house fire today. They have 3 children. Josiah Huckaby developed some issues while traveling to the doctor. It seems to have been an equipment issue. Now that his is hospitalized a couple of issues were identified that might have gone unnoticed. God works is many different ways. Josiah will probably be there through the weekend. Pray for Josiah and K.K.

Mrs. Ruby Dillon continues to regain her strength at home. Thank-you for your continued pray for Mr. Cete and “Miss” Ruby.

Rev. David Luce is continuing to improve at home. Please continue to pray for him and his caring family.

Montpelier Baptist Church can be added to the list of local churches having VBS next week. Their VBS will be in the evenings.
