Saturday

I’m sorry I’m late.  I had to start over.

For if you forgive other people

when they sin against you,

your heavenly Father will also forgive you.

But if you do not forgive others their sins,

your Father will not forgive your sins.

Easter is not about colored eggs, chocolate candy, colorful baskets, family gatherings, hunting eggs, new clothes, etc.  There is nothing wrong with any of those things, but Easter is much more!  It’s about Jesus.  Make plans to put God and what happened on the cross as a major focus of the weekend.

Good Friday

Even now,” declares the LORD,

“return to me with all your heart,

with fasting and weeping and mourning.”

Rend your heart and not your garments.

Return to the LORD your God,

for he is gracious and compassionate,

slow to anger and abounding in love,

and he relents from sending calamity.
