As we think of all the high school and college graduates in our area, we also need to think about the changes coming in the lives of their parents.

Friday

Each of the four living creatures had six wings

and was covered with eyes all around,

even under its wings.

Day and night they never stop saying:

“ ‘Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty,’

who was, and is, and is to come.”

~Revelation 4:8~

Please pray for my Roseland and Amite classmate, Sue Ellen Russell Pearson, of Shreveport.  She grew up in Russelltown.  She has battled cancer for the last few years.  Now, she has pneumonia with some complications.  I know she will appreciate your prayers, even if you don’t know her.

Please keep those prayer coming for Ryan “Rufus” Williams.  He is currently in ICU. His health has really taken him for a “roller coaster ride” the past few weeks.  The family will be appreciative of prayer for him, the family, and the medical staff.

Jesus said the greatest commandment is,

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul

and with all your mind and with all your strength.

The second greatest commandment is this:

‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’

There is no commandment greater than these.”

If we are thrown into the blazing furnace,

the God we serve is able to deliver us from it,

and he will deliver us from Your Majesty’s hand.

But even if he does not,

we want you to know, Your Majesty,

that we will not serve your gods

or worship the image of gold you have set up.”

It’s history!

We had our first night of Bible Drill class night.  Our focus was John 3:16.  Despite the bad weather earlier, we had a great attendance and a great desire to learn more.  We will meet again next Sunday at 6 P.M.  If you have any boys or girls who will be in K-5 next year, we would love to have them join us.  The more the merrier because we are learning how to use and understand our Bibles better.  Thanks to workers who love both the Bible and children!
