28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
That’s not a lot to write in one day. If you haven’t joined in with writing Scripture, today is a good day to start. This is certainly a great Scripture to begin with.
Who’s on your personal prayer list this morning?
You don’t have to answer me, but tell God!
Today is Saturday. When I was a child, on Saturday’s our Sunday clothes were laid out, our shoes polished, and our lessons studied. As I got older, I realized Momma was checking off the preparations for our Sunday lunch. Did you have any routine that you followed? Do you have a routine now? Do you need a routine now to make Sunday morning run smoothly?
I long to see you so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to make you strong— that is, that you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith.

THANK-YOU to the ladies who have been collecting boxes used in packing copy paper for me. They will be used to help organize our OCC room.
THANK-YOU to the ladies who have contributed to the funds for buying the final items needed to pack the shoeboxes.
THANK-YOU to the men who have helped me and others to make it safely up and down the steps at church. What a great way to serve others! Your big smiles and kind words go a long ways to help others!
THANK-YOU to those who had been doing the remodeling at church. I look forward to seeing the new area for the children and the newly installed floors in several areas.
PRAYER-FOCUS TODAY. Today, let’s pray for all the little children who will be impacted by our new nursery and the new area for children’s worship. I thank God for the many parents and other family members the children have been able to “bring” to church.
‘Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat down on them,’ nor any scorching heat. For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; ‘he will lead them to springs of living water.’ ‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.

Yesterday, I saw the orthopedist. He confirmed that I broke my left foot again. It happened early Saturday. I will be delayed in my healing and therapy, but I have big plans to finish this OCC season and 2022 year strong. It’s back to wearing a big black book for me, but it is only one boot this time!
The associational WMU will be meeting Saturday at East Fork Baptist Church at 10:00. You are invited to attend and learn more about missions. Bring a side dish and join in on lunch the other ladies.
