Operation Christmas Child ()CC)

There’s “excitement in the air”. In TWO days the drop-off centers will open. FBC, Kentwood will be accepting shoeboxes Monday, 10-12 in the fellowship hall. I’ll try to post the time for accepting boxes daily. It varies from location to location. If you need more information, check out OCC on the Samaritan’s Purse web page.

Bill Lambert is much better. He is back at work. He expressed his appreciation for all the prayers on his behalf.

Thankfulness Day 12

Today, I am thankful for babies. In the last year I was blessed with a great-newphew. David’s family has been blessed with a great nephew and is looking forward to a great niece in a couple months. New babies in the family keep it growing and busy. They are part of God’s plan for families.

Prayer Focus -Babies

Today, let’s pray for babies. They are what keeps families growing. Babies are also one way our churches grow. God bless all the young families in our churches. Please pray for babies today – family, church, neighborhood, etc. Invest some time in them and be greatly blessed.

Today is the perfect day to do some tasks in preparation for tomorrow. Your tasks might include selection of clothing, preparing a lesson, beginning preparation for a special meal, Bible study, checking with a neighbor on giving them a ride to church, etc. Do whatever works best for your family.

I am so blessed to have you read and pray daily.
