October 17 – Psalm 68: 1-6

PRAYER FOCUS FOR TODAY

As cooler weather comes our way, today is a good day to pray for those whose home environments will not be warm without some last-minute intervention from neighbors and friends. Do you have a neighbor, friend, or relative who needs a heater, an additional blanket, pipes wrapped, etc? We had a neighbor/friend who helped us with pipes when David was sick. What a blessing he was to us! As I think of others with needs, I also remember his kindness to us a few years ago. The change in the weather will always be a reminder to me, not only of what was done for us, but also what me can do for someone else. I remember the following phrase – “”Each One Bring One”. Today, I’m saying “Each One Help One” or more.
