Richard Hendry’s cancer surgery yesterday went well. He may be able to come home today. Please continue to pray for him.

I went to the oncologist last week and the labs showed I needed further tests to determine my low blood and iron levels. Today I had a procedure that revealed a mass on my colon, very likely cancer. The outlook is hopeful that it can be successfully removed. Your prayers are appreciated as we go through this unexpected journey.

Operation Christmas Child Prayers Answered

Yesterday, I asked you to pray for Barbie dolls as David shopped on his way home from his appointments. He found a box of them on a top shelf and was able to get enough to meet our needs! Thank you for praying!

Our focus for the remaining weeks will be on postage ($10.00 per shoebox). As parents of missionaries who served internationally, I can tell you that is a great deal. We paid much more to ship smaller and lighter packages.

PRAYER FOCUS – OCC Shoppers

Thousands of people in our area are shopping for items to pack shoeboxes. David and I frequently meet or hear reports from others as they shop. Isn’t it great all these people are willing to work diligently to see that children around the world hear about Jesus.
