Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many;
and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.
~Hebrews 9:27-28~
This morning the news about Ukraine continues to be disturbing.
Pray for peace to again fill the nation.
Pray for all who have been injured and those who have had to flee from their country to save the lives of the old or the very young.
Pray for the military and for civilians who have left their daily roles to fight for their country.
Most of all pray for peace and for a knowledge of Jesus and His free gift of eternal life.
Thank God for all those who have stepped in to provide basic needs and opportunities for the people by placing themselves in that general area of the world.
Pray for world leaders to work together to bring peace again.
Pray for the hearts of the people to not be hard against other people.
Pray for the hearts of all the people to be open to God and His great love for them.
READ AND WRITE SCRIPTURE TODAY.
April 6 – Matthew 4: 23-24
23 Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people. 24 News about him spread all over Syria, and people brought to him all who were ill with various diseases, those suffering severe pain, the demon-possessed, those having seizures, and the paralyzed; and he healed them.
When I read these verse, just now, I can see a link to the thoughts I had just typed. Jesus is the answer to all the problems.
