A resident of Roseland, LA, passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond, LA. He was born October 29, 1953 in Amite, LA and was 68 years of age. He served in the United States Marine Corp as Lance Corporal. He was a graduate of Amite High School and Southeastern Louisiana University. He was also an avid hunter, fisherman and retired truck driver. He is survived by his sisters, Fairba Russell Cade (Raymond), Osyka, MS; Nancy Jane Russell Forbes (Robert), Roseland, LA; and Julie Kathy Russell, Osyka, MS. Stepbrothers, Wendell Miller (Diane), Amite, LA and J.C. Miller, Kentwood, LA; Nieces, Laura Forbes Ricuard, St. Francisville, LA; Celeste Cade Hickman (Tommy), Osyka, MS; Christie Cade Quin (Ray), Osyka, MS. Great Nieces, Kathrine and Camdyn Quin, Osyka, MS; Great Nephews, Connor Quin, Osyka, MS; Robert Ricuard, Fort Bragg, NC and Bruce Ricuard, St. Francisville, LA. Mark your calendar so you will remember the Operation Christmas Child workday at FBC Saturday at 9:00. We will be preparing pencil bags, preparing items to be used in the shoeboxes, etc.
In the last three days, three ladies told me they read The Prayer Link. I did not know that two of them read TPL. Ladies, I appreciate your encouragement. Hopefully, we can all encourage someone as we go about our daily lives.
