“The LORD is my strength and my defense ;

he has become my salvation.

He is my God, and I will praise him,

my father’s God, and I will exalt him.

This is the day – the Lord’s Day! Don’t think HE doesn’t expect you to give HIM HIS time today. HE loves you and wants to have you spend some time with HIM. HE has so much to teach you! HE knows you need some guidance and purpose for the coming week. HE loves that you give HIM some of your time and will focus on HIM.

This month, January, is almost over. I hope you have been writing a verse each day. That’s surely not too much to expect when you have so much time to do other things. If you missed some days, it’s okay to look back to find the Scriptures you missed and catch up.

BE A PART OF SERVICES AT FBC, KENTWOOD, if you are not already scheduled to be a part of another church. Today, RIVERSIDE REVIVAL BAND will play a big part in our services. They have a way of getting your toes to tapping! Our kitchen staff has a way of providing great meals, so join us tonight and join us in some sweet fellowship. Worship times or 10:30 A.M. and 6:00 P.M.

Please remember to pray for Sherman Cutrer and Joey Miller as they have heart surgeries tomorrow. It’s okay to begin those prayers today. I know your prayers will be appreciated.
