I have a personal request today. I have been having trouble with my back for a LONG time. Without boring you with all the details of who I have seen and what I have done, I just ask for your prayers.

There are many around us who have spiritual, physical, and other needs. Be alert to needs and RESPOND. Show you care through visits, calls, cards, etc. You can make a big difference in brightening their day and their future.

Operation Christmas Child

I’m thankful to announce that the first 150 shoeboxes for the year were packed yesterday in about two hours. I’m thankful for those who gave of their time and efforts to be there. When we consider that “shoeboxes” average out to impacting 7 individuals for Jesus, that 1,050 lives that can potentially be touched by our efforts. I feel so blessed to be part of this effort.

“Shoebox” Opportunities this week

Give money through the regular offering to help pay postage and training in churches so the children can learn about Jesus, etc. It averages out to $9.00 per shoebox.

Volunteer to help fold the shoeboxes we will fill Saturday. Please contact me by noon Monday.

Volunteer to pack future boxes, work in our drop-off location, drive to Hammond to pick up or deliver shoeboxes, etc.

There are a number of individual and organized ways you can minister to others. Find one or some that fit your personality, schedule, etc. and be a big. blessing to others.

Participate in church in person, or online if you cannot be there in person.
