“As a father has compassion on his children,
so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him.”
~Psalm 103:13 (NIV)~
Request from Charles Dean, former minister of music at Spring Creek Baptist Church
Would you add my family to the Prayer Link please. My dad passed away this week in Orlando while he, my mom, and my 3 sisters were at Disney World. I flew to Orlando to drive them home. He was suffering from serious respiratory problems, probably from COVID (although he was never actually diagnosed, they strongly suspect it was the cause).

William Austin Dean

William Austin Dean, 67, of Panama City, passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at the conclusion of a visit to Walt Disney World with his beloved wife and daughters in their Happy Place. Born April 14, 1954 in Greenville, South Carolina, he retired in 2008 as owner of Piggly Wiggly Millville Supermarket. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles & Christine Dean; and siblings Ann, Eddy, and Debbie. He is survived by his wife Susan; two sons, Charles (Vickey) and Tommy; three daughters, Alicia, Elizabeth and Rachel; three grandchildren, Sereniti, Sophi, and Nathaniel; and one brother, Chuck. The family will receive friends at the Wilson Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 from 5-7 p.m. Private family graveside services will be held on Wednesday at the Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to First Baptist Church Panama City, P.O. Box 1200, Panama City, FL 32402 in memory of Billy Dean.
The number of Covid cases is going down from the fourth spike, but it certainly is still around.
I have another former student who is very ill. She has been sick for several years. Please pray for her and her sweet family.
Happy holidays! It’s packing season for Operation Christmas Child in many churches. Join in and pack a box or boxes on your own. Ask someone how you can do it either online or by doing your own shopping. I will be happy to help any individual, club, school, or church get started (either this year or for next year).

Today’s Prayer Focus
Today, let’s pray for all churches. They exist so we can have a place to worship. Support them with your time, funds, and talents.
Have a great weekend. Give God the proper respect by your participation in church services somewhere and in person or online.
