To God be the glory! On August 17, 2021 at 1:49pm Gibbie McMillan went to be with the Lord! We do not grieve without hope knowing that because of his salvation through Jesus Christ he will spend eternity in heaven. Many of you have been so faithful to pray for healing and comfort. We so appreciate those prayers and know they have been answered! The Lord saw fit in His perfect will to heal Gibbie in heaven rather than here on earth. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, August 21 at New Zion Baptist Church in Kentwood, LA. Visitation is from 9-12 with the service immediately following. We ask that everyone in attendance please wear a mask. We know that many of you, from either distance or concerns over COVID, will be unable to attend. We completely understand! We covet your prayers as we celebrate Gibbie’s life.
