A resident of Amite, LA, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at her home. She was born September 3, 1933 and was 87 years of age. She is survived by 3 daughters, Virginia Strahan Bailey and husband, Neal, Grand Bay, AL, Wanda Strahan Hammac, Mobile, AL, and Gwendolyn Strahan Wilkerson, Theodore, AL; 1 son, Aubrey “Alan” Strahan and wife, Margaret, Amite; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Marguerite Hayden, Beth Garon and husband, Brownie, and Debbie Sharp and husband, Dink. Preceded in death by husband, Aubrey Ray “Foots” Strahan; granddaughter, Brynn Woods; parents, Herman Clifton Callihan, Sr. and Aulinh Smith Callihan; sisters, Barbara Bentivania, Karen Dykes; brothers, H. C. Callihan, Jr., Terry Callihan, Lionel Callihan. Visitation at Friendship Baptist Church, Amite, from 6:00PM until 9:00PM on Monday and from 10:00AM until a celebration of her life at 1:00PM on Tuesday, October 27, 2020. Services conducted by Bro.
