A resident of Osyka, MS, passed away on Sunday, April 7,2019 at his home. He was born May 6, 1931 in Osyka, MS and was 87 years of age. Charles will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a loving father, a Master Dairyman, owner of Ole Charley’s Steak House in Summit, a dedicated New Orleans Saints fan, and a U. S. Army Veteran. He is survived by his daughter, Penny Tetrick and husband, Clint; 3 grandchildren, Brooke Tetrick, Landon Lockwood and wife, Kaitlyn, and Ashley Pickens; 5 great-grandchildren, Mason Jones, Jack Lockwood, Garren Baggett, Brylee Pickens, and Brody Pickens; 3 sisters, Ruby Chambers and husband, Tuffy, Helen Smith and husband, Millard, and Margie Daniels and husband, Jim; and a special friend, Virginia Parker. Preceded in death by wife, Frances Spears; parents, Fred and Eunice Spears; 4 brothers, Talmadge, Jimmy, Roderick and Ben Spears; 2 sisters, Addie Lee Feigler and Louise Brown. Visitation at Terry’s Creek Baptist Church from 12 Noon until religious services at 2:00PM on Wednesday, April 10, 2019. Interment Terry’s Creek Cemetery, Magnolia, MS.
