Happy, Glorious Easter

Today represents the day God’s plan for our salvation was finalized! It’s not the day Jesus was born in Bethlehem, the day John the Baptist baptized Jesus, or the day He was crucified on a cross, but the day He overcame death and arose! I hope you know this and have trusted your eternity to Him. If you have, you have a wonderful home prepared and waiting for you when your life on earth is over. You will live in the presence of Jesus forever. If not, your eternity will be eternal punishment. Eternity is a long time! Today is a celebration of what Jesus did and what you have had the opportunity to do to choose your eternity. If you haven’t done so, this is a great day to make that decision.

Read the Bible – Joshua 7-8, Eccl. 4:7-16, &John 7.

Don’t forget that today is the day to choose your eternity!

Wednesday Update

I haven’t shared about David in a while, because he was undergoing many tests and we had no answers.  I can say that most of the tests showed he was doing really well.  Two areas of concern now are his stomach which has many pre-ulcer places and his gall bladder which seems to have stones.  Both of these could cause the symptoms he has had.  We are waiting for reports on biopsies that were done a week ago.

Thank-you for your prayers for him.  He does feel a little better, but is certainly not up to a regular daily routine.  His diet has been changed.  Also, he has many pounds to regain while all this is happening.  Please keep praying.  We appreciate your prayers.

You know we love to have the Third Thursday Gatherings in the cabin, but we will put them on hold until we get more answers and do whatever is required.

Wednesday

Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord,

~Acts 3:19~
