Please continue to pray for Bettye S. Fussell.  She’s home and thankful to be there.  Jill will be going home Tuesday.  Pray they have a good day today.

Pray for Billie Jean Booty who is in ICU at North Oaks.  I learned that she is Betty Taylor’s aunt.

Pray for all the students who are out of school this week.  Pray they will be safe in all they do.

Today, let’s pray for Adrian Phillips whose blood sugar level got too low.   Thankfully, he got some good help and is better.

Pray for Joe and Susanne Crowe.  Joe is having Hospice care in Baton Rouge.  They are from the Amite area.  Your prayers will be greatly appreciated.

Scarlett Splane was in a traffic accident and tore her foot/ankle area up.  She’s had extensive surgery at Ochsner on Jefferson Highway and will be “out of commission” for about six weeks.  Please pray for her and help her out in a very practical way if you can.

The flu continues to spread.  It’s a form that was not covered by the vaccine, so the injection will not protect you from it.  As always, using good judgment is wise.

The Third Thursday Gathering was last night.  We had one of out biggest crowds ever.  It included two couples who have never come before and guests from eight different churches .  Our four musical guests including two who have been out due to illness.  David’s devotional on “Faith” fit perfectly.  It was a wonderful night!  We will meet again on the third Thursday of March.

Don Meadows‘ surgery went well.  He’s home and doing well.  Thank you for praying for him.

Bettye Fussell‘s daughter shared this yesterday.

We just want to say a special “THANK YOU” to everyone that has called, text, sent flowers/cards and come to visit my Mom during this hard time. We are amazed at all of the love and support that everyone has shown her. Just to update everyone, she will hopefully be transferred this afternoon from Southwest to Ochsner’s in New Orleans to begin her chemo treatment. Please keep sending prayers her way as she begins this new journey. We know God is in control and we are ready to fight this fight!! Thank you and We love you all!!

Melinda Russell recently joined her husband in China where he is working.  Her mother passed away in Texas, so now she is flying back.  Pray for her as she travels and as the family celebrate her life.

BASELA Family- please be praying for Bro. Michael, a Disaster Relief Volunteer from Arkansas who fell from a roof in New Orleans East yesterday while working on a home. He has significant injuries but is in good spirits. I will update after I visit him in the hospital later this morning. -Bro. Stan

Bobby Forbes will be in Covington early this morning for multiple heart by-passes.  He is ready to get healthier today.  Pray for all involved in this surgery today.

Dickie Meeks, a former OFA coach, had a heart transplant early yesterday morning.  All seems to be going well.  Please pray for him and his support team as he goes through the recovery period.

We saw Kent Muse at the funeral home.  He continues to do very well following his liver transplant.  Continue to pray for him.
