Josiah Huckaby

For some reason a lot of people couldn’t see the updates yesterday. Sorry about that. Josiah did great with the surgery & has been doing really well today. They took the catheter out late this morning and urology has stopped by several times today. They are very pleased with his post-op status and with how his incision looks. They will continue to monitor him over the next several days just to make sure everything is still looking good. He has been awake more this afternoon & has given me a several little smiles. And everyone is missing those…everytime someone comes in his room the first thing they say is how much they are missing his smiles and laughter today. Also, we want to thank everyone for their prayers. We definitely felt them yesterday. To God be the glory!!!

Friday Morning Bible Study – Romans 7

Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes  and instructions will be available Sunday at FBC, Kentwood.  It’s not too early to begin doing projects, making purchases, and buying items to share with a child that might not otherwise have a gift at Christmas.  Mainly, it is an opportunity for a family to learn about Jesus.  Each box usually impacts seven lives!  See me if you have any questions.

Happy, Glorious Easter

Today represents the day God’s plan for our salvation was finalized! It’s not the day Jesus was born in Bethlehem, the day John the Baptist baptized Jesus, or the day He was crucified on a cross, but the day He overcame death and arose! I hope you know this and have trusted your eternity to Him. If you have, you have a wonderful home prepared and waiting for you when your life on earth is over. You will live in the presence of Jesus forever. If not, your eternity will be eternal punishment. Eternity is a long time! Today is a celebration of what Jesus did and what you have had the opportunity to do to choose your eternity. If you haven’t done so, this is a great day to make that decision.

Read the Bible – Joshua 7-8, Eccl. 4:7-16, &John 7.

Don’t forget that today is the day to choose your eternity!
