“Behold, the LORD’s hand is not shortened,

that it cannot hear.”

Whether or not you like the tune, I hope you love and live by the words of this song.

Monday

“So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;

It shall not return to Me void,

But it shall accomplish what I please,

and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”

~Isaiah 55:11, NKJV~

Mrs. Mary Nell Kliesch is improving.  She is now eating and walking in her room.  Her family thanks you for your continued prayers for her.

Johnny Belgard is also improving.  Physical therapy is working to teach him to dress himself.  After that, Johnny and Susan will be allowed to move into a room at Brent House at Ochsner.  Keep praying.

Johnny Santangello and his family need out prayers.

What lessons of life do we teach our children and grandchildren.  Elisabeth Elliot taught some difficult lessons!

Saturday

“Everything, absolutely everything …

got started in him

and finds its purpose in him.”

~Colossians 1:16 MSG~

This morning I’m going to let my Roseland roots show.

  • Mrs. Grace Chadwich has lived in the same house for as long as I can remember.  Her house is  across the street and just south of Roseland Baptist Church.  She raised her two  children there.  She was faithful in church attendance for all the years I have know her.  Last night, she became very ill and was placed in ICU at North Oaks.  She is 96 (to the best of my recollection).  I haven’t had an update this morning.  Pray for the whole family today.
  • Sue Ellen Russell Pearson went to school with me for the first-sixth grades and then again in high school.  She has battled cancer twice, but is beginning 2016 in remission.  Pray for Sue Ellen and all the others you know who are fighting and winning many years.
