Sunday

Jesus replied, “Truly I tell you,

if you have faith and do not doubt,

not only can you do what was done to the fig tree,

but also you can say to this mountain,

‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’

and it will be done.

It’s here!  February 25th!  “Warming the Heart”

I’ll be looking for lots of ladies, ages 3-103, tonight at 6:15.  Tonight, Sue Connelly has a craft for us to make.  Sue also decorated the room for us.  It is beautiful!  I’m praying for a full room tonight.  That would be a real blessing to us and to you!

Thanks for reading and praying today.

to gain the whole world

and lose his own soul?”

Today, let’s pray for our area churches.  We can all name several dozen of them.  Some seem to be on the upswing, some declining, and some barely holding on.  Let’s pray for God-filled pastors and teachers, active members, and visitors seeking Jesus to live in their hearts.  May those visitors be welcomed into a friendly church that is cleaner than their homes and providing a safe, healthy environment to train adults, youth, children, and babies as they should be.  Let’s be a welcoming  church following up with those who visit. At the same time, may we have strong outreach programs and daily awareness of our opportunities to invite and encourage others.  In our daily lives, may we live more like Jesus each day and be a positive witness for Him no matter where we are.

Mr. James Miller had received blood and platelets again when we saw him yesterday.  He was feeling better and had gone most of the night without being given oxygen.  There was a possibility of him being moved out of ICU.  I will check on that today.

Keith Womack had his back procedure and is now feeling much better.

David has his ablation scheduled for March 3rd.  He has been cleared of all the concerns that came about because of the CT scan.  Thanks to all who have prayed for him.

Mr. James Miller needed two more units of blood and platelets yesterday.  To help keep blood available for those like him who need it, there will be a blood drive on Sunday, January  24th.  I’ll tell you more later, but mark your calendar now.  (David and I have had the opportunity to be with Mr. James when he got blood or platelets.  The unit at the hospital was full each time.  This let me know again how important blood drives are.)

Mrs. Mary Nell Kliesch is in North Oaks, room 3222.

Latest news on Mrs. Mary Kliesch…they will do x-rays tomorrow to decide if surgery is needed…if they see a blockage in gastro-intestinal area. We are praying surgery will not be needed.
