Saturday Afternoon

Patrick Hoosier

Dad’s (Pat) 3 weeks of radiation is finished and he is doing amazingly well. His cancer is stable so the doctors will keep a close watch

on him and it is all in Gods hands. We continue to pray for a lot of time to pass before he will need to start chemo again. We are so thankful

for the awesome time God has given our family and continues to give us on our journey.

Austin Rose

Well it happened again.. Austin spiked a fever last night and we ended up back in the hospital. STUPID FEVERS!! I guess that’s just the cycle.

But we had 5 days home instead of 4 like last time so we are getting better!

Pray for Jimmy Dufrene (granddad to Lara of Lara’s Gowns for Smiles) as he has an angiogram Monday and possibly stents.

“Connected” was wonderful today.  It is such a blessing to see ladies from many area churches gather to learn more about missions and learn

how to teach missions to others.

Lynn Huff, husband of Ann Huff, passed away.  I’ll post arrangements when they are available.

Roseanne Estes Needham

My daughter Roseanne is due with her second child (a girl) she is not due until September 22nd, but she has started to dialate and has been having contractions since last Thursday, they are giving her meds to stop the contractions but it doesn’t seem to be helping very much. Please pray for her and the baby…as much as we are excited and ready to see that sweet new baby…we don’t want her to come if it is not time. I do believe that God has control of this and she will arrive when he is ready!

All of this is has been very stressful on her and J.B.
Just keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
Thanks!

From Bill and Velta Morris

Hi everyone,

Today I had a visit with my oncologist and received the results of the CT scan that I had yesterday.  The report was very good and showed the nodes were smaller and there were no new abnormal ones detected!  I give God all the glory.  I also had the infusion of Rituxin, the maintenance drug that I get each two months for a two-year period.

Thank you so much for your love and prayers.  Please continue them.  I am scheduled for another scan in February 2014!

Bill did really well with his cataract surgery two weeks ago; he will have the other eye done tomorrow.  Please remember him in prayer.

Blessings!
