Today, let’s pray for Debbie Wilkinson as she is at MD Anderson. One test trial will end today and another test trial will begin. Pray for Debbie to maintain her wonderful attitude and spirit! Her “light” shines brightly every time I see her.

Last night at church, we talked about El Shaddai, which means “God is sufficient”. He is! If you doubt that, use your Bible, phone, or computer to look up verses that tell us God is sufficient. Find some that speak to your heart and claim them for your own. Write them in your Bible, around your house, and in your heart!

Two weeks ago, the lab tech who drew David’s labs gave his a bracelet that says “Never Give Up!”. I wear it because it doesn’t fit him.

Pray for me as we go back today. Pray that I might pray of each patient at the cancer center that I see. May each one of them know that “God is enough” to meet every need they have!

The Sunday morning church service from my church is available on the church’s Facebook page, “Kentwood First Baptist Church”. It is available live at 10:30 on Sundays and stays there for you to see as you choose. I always share it, so it is available on my FB page and the pages of several others.

There is “work in progress”, so please overlook any little problems you see. They are being addressed so the final product is of good quality. In the meantime, I know you can get the message and be blessed through the preaching and the singing.

Several other local churches are also broadcasting live, so check them out too. You will be able to participate in “church” all week long. I love to use and to see how others use technology to share Jesus with others. You might find a way to do so too!

Pray for Jimmy Harrell as he faces a major surgery. Pray for his church, family, and friends as they travel this journey with him.

Pray for Mr. Gaylon Cutrer. He has MRS which in similar to David’s MDS. As you pray for Mr. Gaylon, pray for his family.

Frances Gay said her knee is still bothering her, but is expected to stop hurting in a couple months. Her breathing problem that recently surfaced, is treated with oxygen. She sees that doctor again in three months. Pray she can feel better soon.

A resident of Amite, LA, passed away on Monday, March 11,2019 at Hood’s Hospital in Amite, LA. She was born June 19, 1924 in Wewoka, OK and was 94 years of age. She was a member of United Daughters of Confederacy. She was a member of Friends of the Library Louisiana Genealogy Society and helped families do research on relatives in Tangipahoa. She was avid in crocheting and knitting. She was a member of Amite Cemetery Committee credited for mapping Amite Cemetery. She was a dedicated christian lady who shared her love with God and with her family and friends. She was a 20 year member of Church of Incarnation of Amite. She is survived by 1 son, Dudley Settoon, Jr. and wife, Joan Schumacher Settoon;

Jewel Kay Cutrer is home from the hospital with her pacemaker. Pray it is helpful to her.

David – I hate to ask for prayers again, but something else has happened to David. We had three medical appointments last week. On the way home yesterday, he told me his vision wasn’t right. That led to the fourth doctor visit! The lower half of the field of vision in the right eye was not there. Instead, everything was black. We went to a doctor. By the time we got in, the black area was fuzzy. After all the retina surgeries he has had, I knew we had to get attention. The doctor said something in a blood vessel moved through his eye, but it seemed to be better. Testing of his vision was done. We go back on the 19th, unless we need to go again sooner. The field of vision is almost normal this morning. We thank God for that. Please continue to pray for David, and me, as we seem to deal with one issue after another. God is faithful to walk each step of this journey with us.
