Saturday night, Two Rivers will hold a Harvest Revival meeting at Greenlaw Baptist Church at 6:30 P.M.

The Third Thursday Gathering at the Cabin last night was special in several ways.  We had our customary great meal, a first-time guest who came with Gibby and Katera McMillan, a 90 year old Mr. Harlon Toney making my newly tuned piano talk, talented James Rimes sharing about his songs before he sang each one, guests from six churches, and a devotional led by David that tied the whole night together.  It was another fantastic night in the cabin!  We’ll meet again next month.

Lampton Dean Titus, son of Tedd and Kayla, had surgery yesterday. This morning, doctors are working hard to control/correct a problem.  Your prayers are needed.

Update on Lampton Dean…….. I know it’s early but please send lots of prayers!!! They are going to be doing a small procedure to move that IV line with risk of possible blood clots. We will be going to see him in a little bit whenever they let us. We will update everyone as soon as we know how everything went and how he’s doing. Please send lots of prayers that everything goes smoothly and that the feeling and color come back in his leg!! Our little man has already been through enough!! 💙💛#LamptonStrong💛💙

Jordan Hawkins, a football player who was injured Friday night, is better and back at home Saturday afternoon.  I’ve always been happy to hear that those who left a campus in an ambulance were able to return home with less serious injuries than first considered.  Thank you, God, for Jordan’s good report yesterday and for those of all schools who had such injuries.  Seeing both sets of players gather in one hurdle and praying speaks highly of the schools, the families, the coaches, and the players.

Please pray for Gloria Gill again.  Her A-fib has returned.

Rev. Wendell Rhodus will be preaching this morning at FBC, Kentwood at 10:30.  I’m looking forward to hearing him again.

Thursday night, at 6:30, we will gather at the cabin for our monthly Third Thursday gathering.  If you have not been before, I invite you to come join us.  For more information, you can contact me through this site or you can call us.

Pray for me as I share missions with the children who are new members of FBC, Kentwood.  Pray I can teach them in an informative, yet fun way.  Mainly, I pray they learn information about missions that will stick with them and influence them for the rest of their lives.
