A resident of Kentwood, passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2107 at home. He was born January 9, 1992 in Hammond and was 25 years of age. He was an IT Technician by trade but his passion was music. He was a self taught musician, composer, and performer who played multiple instruments. He had a natural gift to bring music to life and would play for anyone, anytime, any place. He was dearly loved by his mother, Judy Langford McElveen; uncle, Bobby Langford; brothers and sisters, Michael and Jennifer McElveen, Debbie and Luke Simeon, John and Rachel McElveen, Sonia and Jeremy Blalock, Jeanine and Bart Matthews; nieces and nephews, Brodie and Destinee, Emily, and Sawyer McElveen, Riley and Shalayne, Hannah, and Julianah Simeon, Anthony and Jayde McElveen, Dawson, Brayden, and Lathan Blalock, Evienne Schwartz and Ezra Matthews; great-niece, Rilynn Simeon. The “young” ladies birthday party for October will be Tuesday at 11 A.M.
Trunk or treat will be Sunday night at FBC, Kentwood.
The Operation Christmas Child Packing Party is Saturday, November 4th at 6 P.M.  I will be trying to finalize the organization of the donated items so we will be able to pack as quickly as possible.  Please bring your Christmas snacks to share with others.  Please plan on being a part of this very meaningful night.  Wear your red and green to help everyone get in the Christmas spirit.
