The bad weather is getting closer. Stay safe! Help a neighbor who may need better protection.
We are now home after spending a late “Christmas” with the Rome Alfords. We were so blessed to have this time together.

I’m going to share a few thoughts tonight.
Continue to pray for Mrs. Catherine Yarborough and her family. She is in Hood Memorial.
Today, as many people begin a new work week, let’s pray for them as they face their usual challenges and as new ones arise. May each Christian allow God to shine through them each day.
For those who do not work, may the week present opportunities to share their faith. May there be boldness in each opportunity.

If – believe
Then – eternal life
That doesn’t sound complicated!

Jadon’s Journey
Jadon went for his test today at Children’s Hospital. We haven’t been there in a long time bc we see his neurologist at the Metairie clinic. As we walked in his hand held my hand tight and he got very quiet. I was quickly reminded of how much time we use to spend there, how scared we were, the many tears cried, and how sick Jadon once was. I then realized it has been 4 years since the last time he was put in the hospital. The place we use to call our 2nd home is now a distant memory. We did run into one of his nurses who use to take care of him, the lady that use to push him around telling everyone to have a blessed day (such a ray of sunshine to everyone), and we stopped by to see our favorite nurse in Dr. Weimer’s office. It was great to see all of them bc they all took such great care of Jadon but today it hit me just how thankful I am for Jadon’s health. He is doing things we thought he would never be able to do. Thank you God for always being by our side in the good times and the bad.
Kenny Ray Gill said his father-in-law, Gerald Miller, continues to do well. It’s so wonderful to know God performed a miracle in his health last week.
Pray for Betty Taylor. She has injured her knee again.
