I’m thanking God for waking me up today.
A Verse for This Day
For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’ Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ Matthew 25:35-40 ESV
PRAYER FOCUS
Today, let’s pray for the needs of each other, even the unspoken ones.

Youth Camp at Rome, GA
Yesterday, a chaperone with our church youth made a simple statement on Fascebook about where our church youth are this week, “Berry College inRome, GA”. David got excited and did some checking. Yes, that is exactly where our youth are. David and I spend as much time as we can there when we are visiting our family there. It is such a unique place with an awesome history.
We are thankful our church youth are getting the “Berry influence” too. If you are ever in the area, I hope you will take time to ride through and appreciate the beauty and history of the school.
We ate meals the youth made available, encouraged some of our youth to make an extra effort to attend, were in church when the congregation prayed for them Sunday (I watched online.), etc. and never heard exactly where they were going! What a small world! What a beautiful area to study God’s Word!
If you have time, do a little computer research on “Martha Berry College”. Enjoy the history and the scenery. Maybe, you will want to see it in person one day….
Be a blessing to others today.
