An unnamed person had surgery this week. After one night in the hospital, she is now home. Pray all goes well for her in the coming days.

A resident of Garland, TX, passed away on Monday, September 12, 2022 at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center-Lake Pointe in Rowlett, TX. He was born December 14, 1946 in McComb, MS and was 75 years of age. He is survived by wife, Pam B. Christmas; daughter, Kim Christmas Moore; son-in-law, Mike Moore; son, Michael Christmas; daughter-in-law, Tamie Hughes Christmas; 6 grandchildren, Chelsea Herrington (Garrett), Caitlyn Golmon (Michael), Cassidy Golmon, Craig Golmon (Miah), Michael Christmas, II and Reese Ann Christmas; 6 great-grandchildren, Alayna Golmon, Olivia McGovern, Beckham McGovern, Lyla Golmon, Boden Bernhart, and one on the way, Lucas James Golmon; sister, Merrie Christmas Bennett (Henry); brother, Charles D. “Boo” Christmas (Kay). Preceded in death by his parents, Charles H. Christmas and Hilda Lenoir Christmas. Visitation at First United Methodist Church, Amite, from 9:00AM until religious services at 11:00AM on Friday, September 16, 2022. Services conducted by Rev. Karl Klaus and Pastor Chip Fitz. Interment Amite Memorial Gardens, Amite, LA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Amite Bell Tower Restoration Fund.
