For our light and momentary troubles

are achieving for us an eternal glory

that far outweighs them all.

Pray for Diane Turner as she prepares for foot surgery on September 9th.

Taylor Buckley is still improving. Let’s continue to pray for him and his family.

Mr. “Cete” and “Miss” Ruby celebrated 75 years of marriage. How marvelous! Thank God for allowing them to have each one of those 75 years.

August 29 – 2 Corinthians 4: 16-18

We appreciate the donations of coloring books, play dough, crayons, and jump ropes we received yesterday. We are also thankful for the donations of the boxes that copy paper comes in. The boxes will be used in reorganizing after this years boxes are packed.

We will have a workday Saturday to pack the second group of boxes. We will pack 150 shoeboxes this time! Our third, and last, packing day this year will be the first Saturday of October. Thank you to all the volunteers who have helped this year.

Yesterday, I got to see the outer room of the previous office and the flooring in the second floor. I’m so thankful for the church members who stepped up and did such a great job of making the area usable for the children’s needs. It will soon be completed and ready for use. Workers, you are GREATLY APPRECIATED!

Pray for those on your prayer list. Update your list and add to it as needed. Your prayers are always appreciated.
