A resident of Roseland, LA, passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at her home. She was born December 13, 1938 in Amite, LA and was 83 years of age. She is survived by 2 sons, Shelby Brown, Jr. and Ronald Dale Brown; 1 daughter, Tracie Lorraine Brown; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Kenneth Ray Miller and Todd Miller; 4 sisters, Peggy Trabona, Carol Cosgrove, Elizabeth Davis and Sally Cannon. Preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Rita Miller; husband, Dudley Singleton; granddaughter, Kira Rose Brown; great-grandson, Logan Douglas; brother, Larry Miller; 2 sisters, Patricia Easley and Gloria Milton. Visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 5:00PM until 9:00PM on Thursday and from 8:00AM until religious services at 2:00PM on Friday, July 8, 2022. David took me back to the orthopedist yesterday. X-rays showed that the bones are in place, so now my job is to keep wearing those big, black, bulky boots.
