Pray for the annual meeting of Southern Baptist as they end their gathering and business sessions tonight. Pray the delegates have learned ways to improve their churches and the world around then, no matter where God has “planted” them. Pray for all the missionaries in attendance, especially the new ones as many of them will soon begin to learn a new language to better communicate with the people around them.

Please pray for God to wrap Larry Raborn’s family in His arms and hug them closely today.

Pray for youth from some area churches as they attend church camps this week and for the children at other churches as they continue their week of VBS. May they allow God to touch their innermost portions of their hearts.

Thank God for His steadfast love for us even when we are not so loving.

Pray for a friend having a procedure in Hammond today. Thank God this man made purchases of flashlights and extra batteries last week that we were able to package for “Shoeboxes”.

Thank God for the lady who left us some stuffed animals and some “cut out” Teddy bears for sewing. God encouraged us through these people.

Thank God for a store manager who recognized us as the “Shoebox” packers and made a special effort to look for an item we needed.

Make plans to attend prayer meeting and other activities at church tonight. Most churches have something for all age groups on Wednesday nights.

Thank God for others who invest in you and your family members.
