Jerry MacArthur White
June 25, 1943 – February 2, 2022

Mr. Jerry MacArthur White, 78, of Osyka, MS, passed away at his home on February 2, 2022.
Mr. Jerry was born in Carbon Hill, AL and was the son of Cecil White and Christine Cox White. Jerry was a loving husband, pawpaw, and “Paw J’. He was a person who worked extremely hard, and loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter. He served our country in the United States Navy and his family was very proud of him.
He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Karl White; one son, Michael White and one brother-in-law, Richard Ortner.
He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Denise White of Osyka, MS; daughters, Gina Mitchell (Pat), Michelle Durr, and Stacy Spinks (Bobby); son, Stephen Achord (Charlotte); bonus daughter, Carla Weeks and son-in-law, Errol Durr; three sisters, Patsy Burt (Darryl), Christie Ortner, and Shelia McKenny; six grandchildren, Blake Stewart (Anna), Michael Durr, Shelbi Durr, Jared Gordon, Brandon Johnson, and Lily Achord; two great-grandchildren, Piper Stewart and Baylor Stewart, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
The family will have a memorial service announcement at a later date.

He is survived by his daughters, Savannah Bennett and Jamie Lynn Bennett; son, Gaige Bennett; 1 grandson on the way; parents, James Bennett and Regina Bennett; brother, Brian Bennett and wife, Melinda Bennett. Preceded in death by his sister, Amy Bennett; grandparents, Phillip Domiano and Marilyn Domiano Bentivegno and Thomas Bennett and Verlis Bennett.
