“Sing to God, sing praises to his name;
lift up a song to him . . . his name is the LORD.”
~Psalm 68:4 (ESV)~
I’ve got my special notebook started with the Scriptures for the last two days. It’s easy to write and meditate over. Today’s Scripture is 2 Corinthians 10:3-6. To complete your assignment for today, this is what you will write in your notebook.
3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
I hope you will join us if you have not already started. Think how proud of yourself you will be at the end of the year.
Think of all the special passages you can mark for memorization.
Think of all the passages you could categorize for future use.
Etc.
Please pray for Mr. Bobby Simpson’s daughter, Kay, who now has covid on top of her other jealth issues.
Please pray for others who, like Kay, have compromised health issues.
Write Scriptures today.
Instructions: Take 10 minutes each day to read each day’s
Bible verse and the surrounding passages.
Write it in your journal and pray over it. Ask
God to reveal to you what He wants to show
you through His Word.

We’re collecting gift cards from various stores, such at Walmart, Dollar General, and Chic-Fil-A to send to people in Kentucky who recently had tornado damage. Bro. Stan Statham, who serves as the LA Baptist Disaster Relief leader will get them to those in greatest need. If you wish to donate you can purchase gift cards in your chosen amounts and turn them in through the Sunday morning offering or give them to the church secretary during the week. Thank you for helping those who have a great need at this time.
Operation Christmas Child – Keep your eyes open for after-Christmas sales of pencils, stuffed animals, coloring books, etc.
Thanks to all who helped with the Christmas gift-bags for our local ministry and our shoeboxes for our international ministry. May God blesses you for helping children.
