Michael Keith “Mike” Felker
1967 – 2021
Michael “Mike” Keith Felker, 54, of Kentwood, LA lost his battle to Covid on Oct. 23, 2021 at our Lady of The Lake Baton Rouge surrounded by his loved one’s. Mike was born March 27, 1967 in Baton Rouge, LA. To the late John D. and Laura Belle Felker. He was a loving father, husband, paw-paw, brother, uncle, son, friend. His integrity and loyalty to those he loved was unwavering! Mike worked for Environmental Industries Recycling over 25 years. Other than his family he had a true passion for running his deer dogs, hunting and fishing. And spending time with his hunting family and special friend’s. Mike was survived by his loving wife Tracy Felker. His six children Courtney (Tim), Michael (Cassy), Kelly (Randy), Molly (Timothy), Shyanne and William Felker. Eleven grandchildren. His siblings John R. Felker, Sherry Day(Tommy), Joyce Havard (JR), Darryle Felker (Yvonne), Melinda Collette (Luke). Sister in law Denise Felker and brother in law Jessie Royals. Father and mother in law Wade And Wanda Royals. Numerous niece’s and nephew’s that thought their Uncle hung the moon. Special friend’s Dan Wall, Jimmy Lane Wall, Alan Easley, John Cato and Pat Sanders. Mike proceeded in death by his parents John D. and Laura Belle Felker, Billy and Juanita Felker. Brothers Reggie and Larry Felker. Nephew Kaleb Collette. Mike will join his special hunting buddy Seedtick Havard who went up first to scope out the best hunting area. We will hold a celebration of life by Clint and Gregg Stewart at Tangipahoa Baptist Church, on Thursday, Oct. 28th, 2021 from 5-9 p.m. and on Friday, Oct. 29th, 2021 9-11 a.m. Service’s to follow. Burial at Old Day Cemetery. Pallbearers: Alan Easley, Chris Frazier, Jr. Havard, John Cato, Michael Wall, Dakota Collette, Benji Felker and Dan Wall. Honorary pallbearers: William Felker, Steven Smith, and Jessie Royals.
