Gerogia Barnette Offering for Louisiana Missions
Today begins the annual Week of Prayer for this offering.
Day 1 – Disaster Relief
Bro. Gibby McMillan was the leader of this ongoing effort in LA. After he retired, Bro. Stan Statham took over. With Hurricane Ida a recent visitor to our state, we have seen Disaster Relief Teams in town doing the great work they are known for. FBC, Kentwood was blessed to be able to host chainsaw teams and other efforts for the past two weeks. Another team is at Woodland Park in Hammond. I don’t know how long they will be here, but their time and talents are free of charge. Pray for them and donate to the Georgia Barnette Offering so they can continue to meet needs following storms in our state.
