Wednesday

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you;

and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

~Acts 1:8~

Rev. David Luce and his family need your continued prayers as he has his last procedure today in preparation for surgery Tuesday at Ochsner.

Please continue to pray for Joell Miller who continues to be treated for covid pneumonia at North Oaks.

If you are trained by Louisiana Baptist Disaster Relief, please contact Kim at the the BASLA (Baptist Associations of Louisiana) office in Franklinton to volunteer for work in the Lake Charles area.

Saturday’s mission workshop is getting attention from those who have not helped before. Don’t miss your opportunity to help. Some of the tasks involve cutting and sewing, but there will be other ways to help – putting school supplies in bags, braiding jump ropes, sorting folders, pinning socks together, sharpening pencils, etc. Men, women, youth, and older children are invited to participate Saturday morning, beginning at 9 A.M. Please join in and be blessed as you bless others.

Today’s Prayer Focus

Today, let’s continue to pray for our Louisiana residents as they face the results of rain, wind, and flooding. We can all pray. Some can physically work in disaster relief. The prediction is for more rain and flooding. Keep the situation in you prayers throughout the day today.
