Dorothy Clark Alford, a resident of Amite, LA, passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Camelot Nursing Home in Hammond, LA. She was born December 27, 1927 in Tangipahoa, LA and was 93 years of age. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Smith and husband Donnie; grandchildren, Jacob Smith, Jeff Alford, Scott Alford and Ashley Alford Foster; great-grandchildren, Dusty Alford, Taylor Alford, Bucky Alford and Maison Foster; best friend, Kirk Hood. Preceded in death by her parents, Pearl and Gayle Clark; stepmother, Etta Clark; husband, Leamon Alford; sons, Leamon “Buddy” Alford, Jr. and Marshall Alford. Graveside Services will be held at Hyde Cemetery, Chesbrough, LA at 10:00AM Monday, April 19, 2021. McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, in charge of arrangements.
