John Henson has been moved to rehab in Hammond. His grandson, Sintia has been moved to OLOL Children’s Hospital. Keep praying for the family.
Another former student is hospitalized with Covid-19. Many of the cases lately have been among younger and seemingly healthy people.

A resident of Kentwood, LA, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at her home. She was born March 24, 1939 in Spring Creek, LA and was 81 years of age. She is survived by 2 daughters, Bonita Y. Anthony and husband, Michael, and Wanda Miller and husband, Larry; 2 sons, Ronnie W. Young and Randy Young; 4 grandchildren, Cara Garner and husband, Tommy, Jordan Miller, Jacob Miller and wife, Raissa, and Jacob Young and wife, Jeanette; 5 great-grandchildren, Kade Cutrer, Morgan Creppel, Cody Garner, Caden Garner, Caleb Garner, and Aiden Young; sister, Betty B. Simpson and husband, Bobby; 2 brothers, Dennis Booty and Lindsey Booty and wife, JoAnn. Preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Clarence “Tut” Young; parents, Homer J. and Faye Cutrer Booty; brother, Verlin Booty and wife, Mary; sister-in-law, Juanita Booty; daughter-in-law, Linda Young.
