I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
~Romans 12:1-2~

Today’s Prayer Focus
Today, let’s pray for the homebound in our area. Today is the perfect day to “put feet to your prayers”. That means do more than pray – write a card, prepare some food, make a phone call. etc.
Thankfulness – Day 18
Today, I am thankful for long-time friends. Working at the church this week has reminded me of the friends I have from so many churches and the length of time we have been friends. Long-time friends are special in many ways. You may have memories of going to school with them, working with them, going to church with them, etc. The instant you see them, your memory can draw you back to sweet thoughts of past times. I’m thankful for long-time friends. It would be a much different world if every time we saw a person they were a stranger. Living in a small town setting and in the same general area as you have always lived is a great advantage that has blessed my life. If you are reading this, you are probably one of my long-time friends!
Have a great day, friend!
