Blessed are all who fear the LORD,
who walk in obedience to him.
You will eat the fruit of your labor;
blessings and prosperity will be yours.
Pray for the people who live in areas damaged during Hurricane Laura. No gas, no groceries, no water, no electricity, and no/damaged homes are some of their problems. A classmate who lives there said it would be the 19th before their power is restored. Pray for those living in these conditions during a very hot season. A cousin has chosen to stay in this area until things get better there. Pray for the volunteers of Louisiana Baptist Disaster Relief as they minister in that area and for residents and business owners who have big decisions to make.
Please be in prayer for Buddy Morris and Eleanor. I know they will appreciate your prayers.
Please be in prayer for Rev. Bob Simpson of Arcola. He has had another back surgery and needs some rest time to heal his back.
