August 09, 1935 – August 12, 2020

Mary Lou Carona Ingraffia, a resident of Loranger, LA, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at her home. She was born August 9, 1935 in New Orleans, LA and was 85 years of age. She is survived by her 2 sons, Philip (Chuck) Ingraffia, Jr. and wife, Chantel of Loranger, LA and Jon Ingraffia of New Orleans, LA; 1 brother, Jack Carona, III and wife, Anna of Independence, LA; 4 grandchildren, Daren (D.L.) Vicellio, Philip Ingraffia,III( Mckayla), Luke Ingraffia(Brooke) and Jake Ingraffia; 2 great-grandchildren, Shyenne Vicellio and Gunner Vicellio. Preceded in death by her spouse, Philip (Pluto) Ingraffia, Sr.; daughter, Jackie Ingraffia; mother, Christine Lucia Carona; father, Jack Carona, Jr.. Geraldean Merritt Sanders

January 26, 1924 – August 11, 2020

Geraldean Merritt Sanders, a resident of Kentwood, LA, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at Hood Memorial Hospital in Amite, LA. She was born January 26, 1924 in Osyka, MS and was 96 years of age. She was a loving Mother and Grandmother. She worked for the State of Louisiana Department of Tourism for 30 years. She loved her job and the trips she and Judy were able to go on because of it. The thing she was most proud of though, was her family. She is survived by 2 daughters, Barbara Posey of Dora, AL and Judy Sanders of Kentwood, LA; 6 grandchildren, Scott Posey (Karen) of Denham Springs, LA, Denver Posey (Victoria)League City, TX, Kim Sulzby (Jay)Dora, AL, Michelle Bridges(Paul) Kentwood, LA, Marcie Grice (James) Kentwood, LA, Justin Hendry (Dana) Kentwood, LA, son-in-law, Larry Hendry, Kentwood, LA; 23 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren; as well as being “Maw Maw” to numerous others. She is preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey Sanders; son, Aubrey Ray Sanders; daughter, Marie Hendry; parents, Obediah and Jessie Merritt; and son-in-law, Raymond Posey. Pallbearers are Scott Posey, Denver Posey, Justin Hendry, Caleb Hendry, Triston Lofton and Jeffery Posey.
