Martha Simpson asked for special prayers for Matthew Simpson who had emergency surgery.  Matthew is on the road to recovery now.




Bro. Bobby Eads, a former youth minister at FBC, Kentwood, asks for prayers for his wife, Susie Eads, as they will meet with a surgeon today to plan/schedule a double mastectomy.  (They still live in Hazel Green, Alabama where they have been for 26 years. Bro. Bobby is a bi-vocational pastor and hospital chaplain.




Robert Earl Pezant

April 25, 1929 – July 12, 2020

A resident of Kentwood, LA, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2020 at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond, LA. He was born April 25, 1929 in Magnolia, MS and was 91 years of age. He was a member at the Tangipahoa United Methodist Church. He is survived by his 2 daughters, Allison Gutierrez (JB) and Mary Ann Willson (Paul); 1 son, Arnold Pezant (Danielle); 1 sister, Bobbie Brashear (George); 2 brothers, Paul Pezant (Jimmie) and Halbert Pezant (Hideko); 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Pike Pezant; son, Stuart Jay Pezant; parents, Willie Paul Pezant and Eliza Jane Rhodus Pezant; sister, Jonnie Jackson.
